Workforce Training

Eastern Maine Development Corporation and the Northeastern Workforce Development Board have launched the Connecting with Opportunities Initiative to provide training, education and employment services to long-term unemployed and dislocated workers impacted by the opioid crisis, and to others who wish to help individuals impacted by substance use disorder. The initiative's services include individual training plans, career counseling, work-based training, schooling, supportive services, and more.
