Retirement By Design – Thursday, Oct. 22nd. 6pm – 730pm.
Retirement by Design is a 40-minute presentation that illustrates how you can translate your vision for retirement into tangible goals. Whether you are 10 or 40 years from retirement, you'll learn investment strategies to help design the retirement you want. We'll also discuss how you can add flexibility to your strategy to help you handle unexpected events and how you can keep your strategy on track. This class is hosted via Zoom and the participants can connect to Zoom via a computer or smartphone or just dial in and interact with voice only as well.
There's a lot of confusion when it comes to creating a resume that gets you an interview. This course will demonstrate the basics of creating a resume that can be easily updated and adapted to fit any job or career requirements. Participants will get one on one support from the instructor, education regarding what types of resumes make it to the hiring manager's desk, and will workshop their resumes with their classmates. Participants will finish the course with a firm understanding of how to create a resume from scratch, or update an outdated one.
Sunflower Painting Class
This one time Zoom painting class is intended for people who want a fun and engaging class in a comfortable home setting. The instructor is fun and easy to follow as she guides you through creating your own painting. This will be an acrylic painting of a bunch of sunflowers. Feel free to improvise and choose your own colors while the teacher explains the method. A materials list will be provided.

Managing Stress with Resilience (Two 90 minute sessions)
This is an interactive Zoom webinar on not only stress in our everyday lives, but also the absolute possibility of resilience in the midst of all that is happening in our world today, including the first global pandemic in over a century. The first part of our time together will include a brief description of the different types of stress as well as looking at different coping strategies to support resilience and what has worked for you in the past. The second part of our conversation will include “microphones unmuted!” to share individual thoughts, strategies, and overall insight. Class size limited to 15.
